What is the history of nursing Homes?

Before the 17th Century and till today's modern date, you can see that people used to care for their families in their family home, and this is still a common practice that the people follow.

This means that if anyone in their house has been hospitalized or anything, and if they are still ill, then they can create a portable ICU in your house where you can shift the person until they get well.

This is the best way because when the patient is living with their family, they feel the happiest and also they will not need any kind of therapy to get rid of their extra stress and also anxiety.

In the 21st Century, nursing homes have become a very big thing because all those patients who are old and they need to be treated for their diseases are kept there.

This means that until their surgery is done and the doctor has given the green signal to the patient's family, they will have to stay in the nursing home and get well soon; otherwise, it will take time for them to go home.

This concept began in the 17th Century when England had created something which they called poorhouses, and they had a vision that they would take care of their poor and other people there.

This means that those houses were created by the Municipality for the poor people, orphans, and also those people who were declared to be mentally ill by the doctor.

The worst part about these poorhouses is that those people who were old could rest there, but those who had potential and were young were forced to work there; otherwise, they would be imprisoned.

This is because England was under the command of its King and Queen, and those who had dared to refuse their direct order will be imprisoned for some time and left after a warning.

Slowly they kept on progressing. Then in the 19th Century that is after World War, these homes came into the light again for those people who had suffered injuries.

It was also declared by the UN that the people injured in the main War areas will be treated for free and will be kept in the nursing homes for some time till they recover fully.
